We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) because the mandatory cases under Article 37 of the GDPR do not apply. Please contact us with any data protection questions at info@borarosgarazs.hu.
The information applies to data processing via the website. A separate information sheet contains the rules for the camera system operating in the garage area and the data processing related to the fulfillment of the parking contract (e.g. parking tickets, payment of fees).
The legal basis for data processing is Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR), Act CXII of 2011 on the right to informational self-determination and freedom of information (Infotv.), and Act CVIII of 2001 on certain issues of electronic commerce services.
2. Overview of data processing
We process five types of data on the website. Below you can see what we process, the legal basis and how long we retain the data for each purpose.
2.1. Contact form (general question, help request, charging or payment question)
• Data processed: name, email address, chosen topic, message text, fact and date of consent.
• Purpose: to respond to the request.
• Legal basis: GDPR Article 6 (1) point a), your consent.
• Retention: until the request is closed, up to 1 year from the last message exchange.
2.2. Complaint or comment via the form
• Processed data: the data from the previous point, as well as the content of the complaint and our response.
• Purpose: to investigate the complaint, to maintain legal records.
• Legal basis: GDPR Article 6 (1) point c), legal obligation (consumer protection law).
• Retention: 3 years.
2.3. Applying for a monthly pass or long-term parking
• Data processed: name, email address, data provided in the message (for example, type of pass requested).
• Purpose: preparation for bidding and contract conclusion.
• Legal basis: GDPR Article 6 (1) point b), steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
• Retention: 1 year if the contract is not concluded. In case of conclusion of a contract, according to the rules of contractual data management.
2.4. Cookies and technical logs necessary for the operation of the website
• Data processed: IP address, browser and device data, session ID.
• Purpose: secure and stable operation of the site, remembering the language setting.
• Legal basis: GDPR Article 6 (1) f), legitimate interest.
• Retention: until the end of the session or until the cookie expires.
2.5. Statistical and advertising measurement (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel)
• Data processed: online identifiers, cookie identifiers, actions taken on the site, approximate location, device and browser data.
• Purpose: measuring traffic, measuring the effectiveness of advertisements, remarketing.
• Legal basis: GDPR Article 6 (1) point a), your consent via the cookie banner.
• Retention: according to the settings of the service providers, detailed in the Cookie Policy.
You may withdraw your consent at any time without giving any reason. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of previous data processing.
3. Contact form and pass request
Filling out the form is voluntary. We cannot respond to your inquiry without your name, email address, subject and message, so these fields are mandatory. Before submitting the form, you must tick the data processing consent, which leads to this notice.
Please only include in your message what is necessary to answer the question. Please do not send any special data (such as health information), we do not request it and do not process it specifically. If the license plate number or phone number is necessary to apply for a pass, we will request it in our response.
The form data is received by the Wix system, from where it is forwarded to our inbox. Enquiries are handled by designated employees of Boráros Garázs Kft. The data is not used for marketing purposes, we do not send newsletters, and we do not perform automated decision-making or profiling.
You can withdraw your consent by sending a message to info@borarosgarazs.hu. In this case, we will delete your contact information, unless the law requires its retention (for example, in the event of a complaint).
4. Cookies and measurement tools
We use cookies necessary for the operation of the site without your consent. Statistical and advertising tools will only be enabled if you accept them in the cookie banner. If you do not accept, the site can still be used, and parking information and contact information will remain available.

• Meta Pixel: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Measuring the results of Facebook and Instagram ads, remarketing.
• TikTok Pixel: TikTok Technology Limited. Measuring the results of TikTok ads, remarketing.
Google, Meta and TikTok may use the data from the measurement for their own purposes according to their own privacy policies. You can find information about these on the websites of the service providers: Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy), Meta (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy), Wix (https://www.wix.com/about/privacy). TikTok's policy can be found on tiktok.com.
You can change your cookie settings at any time by clicking on the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of the page, or you can delete cookies in your browser. You can also disable Google Analytics tracking using the Google browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). 5. Data processors, recipients and data transfer
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. The following service providers may have access to your data:
• Wix.com Ltd. and Wix Online Platforms Limited: hosting the site, managing forms and cookies necessary for the operation of the site (data processor).
• Our email service provider: receiving contact messages and sending replies (data processor).
• Google Ireland Limited, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, TikTok Technology Limited: measurement and advertising as described in point 4, only with your consent.
• Authorities: in the event of legal authorization or official request, within the scope of the request.
Some of the above service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States or Israel. The legal basis for the transfer of data is a European Commission adequacy decision, such as the EU-US Data Protection Framework for service providers that undertake it, or in the case of Israel, a Commission adequacy decision. Where such a decision is not available, service providers transfer data on the basis of standard contractual clauses (SCC).
6. Third-party services
Some external services are available from this site. In these cases, the service provider is an independent data controller, and their processing is subject to their privacy policy, not this document.
• Parkl: parking initiated and paid for in the Parkl application, as well as electric charging, is a service of Parkl. The data provided in the application is processed by Parkl, in accordance with its own data processing information.
• Google Maps: When you load a map embedded on a page, your browser contacts Google servers, allowing Google to receive your IP address and device information.
• Google Maps and Waze route planning: clicking the “Route planning” button opens Google Maps or Waze. The location data provided during route planning is already managed by Google or Waze, and we do not receive it.
Boráros Garázs Kft. is not responsible for the data provided on the external services' pages and the data processing there.
7. Data security and your rights
The site is accessible via an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. The data received via the form is only accessible to our staff designated to handle inquiries, through password-protected accounts. We have contractual obligations with data processors regarding data protection.
You have the following rights regarding data processing:
• Information and access (GDPR Article 15): you can find out whether we are processing your data and request a copy of your data.
• Rectification (Article 16): you can request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure (Article 17): you can request the erasure of your data if there is no longer a legal basis for the processing or you have withdrawn your consent.
• Restriction (Article 18): you can ask us not to use your data, but to store it, for example while we are resolving a dispute.
• Data portability (Article 20): you can receive your data processed based on consent or contract in a machine-readable format.
• Objection (Article 21): you may object to data processing based on legitimate interest in justified cases.
• Withdrawal of consent (Article 7): consent can be withdrawn at any time, this does not affect the lawfulness of previous data processing.
You can send your request to info@borarosgarazs.hu. We will respond within one month, if necessary, we can extend this deadline by two months, and we will notify you of this and the reason within the first month. The information is free of charge. We may ask for proof of your identity so that the data is not disclosed to unauthorized persons.
8. Legal remedies and amendments to the information

If your rights are violated, you can also go to court. The lawsuit can also be initiated before the court competent for your place of residence or stay, and the court will proceed with the case out of turn.
